We had a big family BBQ last night. My great aunt Pat (below) flew in from Wisconsin earlier last week. It had been a short while since we had seen her last and it was great to see her again. We had some delicious BBQ food and the kids made some tasty caramel apples (with sprinkles, and nuts, and mini m&m’s). I think everyone had a great time and even the weather was good to us! We played rock band and the kids threw a nerf football around outside and the baby even took a nap (which doesn’t happen very often when people are over!). We couldn’t have asked for a better day than yesterday. Its such a blessing to have such a wonderful family.
