Still trying to catch up on all the things that we have been up to these past couple of months.
I was able to go on a field trip with Xander and his class to the zoo in May.
I was so excited, maybe even more excited than Xander. It just happened to be my birthday on that very same day. What better way to celebrate than to go to the zoo with my little man! Just when I thought the day couldn’t get any better, I got a group of five boys!! It was wonderful! We got to see all the really cool animals like snakes and frogs and pigs and camels!
Those boys got to see nearly every animal in the park, even the stingrays! We all went home happy and sleepy that day.

This had to be one of the most amazing things that we saw that day. A baby giraffe was nursing!
It was beautiful, though the boys really didn’t care about any of that! Boys, they make me laugh!
