Two weeks ago, we decided to drive out to Turlock Lake. It took us about an hour to get there. We drove down this road that was just incredible! The lake itself was at least 50% dried up but it was still really awesome! We found some really interesting rocks, walked on the bottom of the lake, ran from some bees, skipped rocks, and overall had a great time just getting out of the house. We also had decided that it would have been best for Zoey to stay at Great-Grandma's house while we went, we had never been there before and didn't know what kind of place it was, and it was pretty cold anyway. She had a great time with great-grandma... she pretty much slept the entire time that we were gone... which is pretty funny since she never sleeps for her mommy and daddy! It was definitly a great day!
