Today has just been one of those days... just crazy...
The morning started out good, got a shower in before Xander woke up... did some laundry and some cleaning in the kitchen..which we had to since people were coming in to fix the counter tops.
Well, this weekend we were suppose to go snowboarding, i was totally looking forward to it. I have never been and we were going to spend the weekend in tahoe with a friend, Joe, from Ohio. It seems that mother nature has some other plans and decided that she wanted to let all the snow that was suppose to come over time down all at one time!!!!!! Geeze!!! lol. We were kind of expecting, been watching the weather for two weeks now, but it just really really sucks.
Second... the whole kitchen thing, people were coming in at 10 to rebuild our kitchen counters. They showed up a bit late..nothing out of the usuall..but we havent had a kitchen since 10 and thats not really great, we practically live in there, lol.. its the room where we have most of our conversations and take the time to sit with each other and all that... its now 3:15pm... and they are still in there!!!!!!! Its been soo loud.. the only good part is that Xander has been really good all day!
Third, Lance had to work :( i know i know.. ya gotta do whatcha gotta do.. but today he didnt start til 4pm! He wont even get home til almost midnight! It would have been way better for him to have worked an opening shift rather than a closing shift and to make it even worse.. he is in modesto today and the fog has been incredibly bad :(... good thing he is a good driver...
One good thing... Joe flies in tomorrow :D yay!!! We've been waiting for him to come out here to visit for like ever now, lol! well yea cant wait! and even thought our snowboarding trip might not work out the way we want it to... we still plan on having a really great time!.. or atleast we hope, lol!!!!
ok.. enough of all that... I hope everyone had a great new years.. we sure did!!!! It was great, we hung out with family all night and ate some really great food and even though Lance worked til 11pm.. once he got home things were even better!!! We have tons of pics, just havent had the time to get them all up yet, hopefully tonight.
