We have been super busy this summer. So much so that it has been rather difficult to stay up dated here on the blog. So here is a little snap shot of just a few adventures that we have had this summer. We tried to spend as much of the summer outside, as long as the heat wasn’t in the triple digits. We were lucky this year, or at least so far, we have only had four days of temps over 100 degrees. A miracle to say the least.
We have had this Harley Big Wheel since Xander turned one.
Now Zoey likes to play with it.
The slip in slides and kiddie pools were by far the best activities this year.
My Grandpa celebrated a birthday this past month. We always have a great time when it comes to birthdays.
There is always a lot of yummy food and some really great laughs. Happy Birthday Grandpa! <3
Grandpa and all the grandkids! And Lance!
A Birthday party just isn't complete without a slip n’ slide!
Even at my grandfather’s birthday we had a slip n’ slide!!!
This would be the Uh Oh face of Zoey…
Wait for it…
Wait for it…
There it is!!!!
Did you notice how the flower kept losing its petals as she got close to the Uh Oh face?
We spent a lot of summer just playing. Our favorites were the classic toys.
Our faces, silly and smiley!
Magnadoodles, Peg pursuit, and Marble Tracks!
Its been a really great summer and there’s a ton more that we did. But, that will have to be another post on another day. As much as we enjoyed our summer, we are thankful that fall is around the corner and school is back in session. Can’t wait to see what the winter months will bring.
