The weather has been nice out here off and on. It will rain for a day or two then we will have mid 80’s temperatures for a week. The kids don’t really care for it. They get use to being outside everyday and then stuck inside for two..it drives us all bananas! In between all the weird weather, we have managed to make a few park trips. Of course, not forgetting the baseball equipment… even Zoey was chasing down all the baseballs hit to the out field!
We had lots of backyard playtime too. Which included red light green light, mother may I, and a thousand other games that my sweet little boy thought up all by himself. We even use the fence as a chalk board!
And don’t forget all the homework, which thankfully, we have moved past the battle stage of homework. Now it is more like a repetitive thing, “Xander, please do you homework. Xander please do your homework. Xander please do your homework.” That is pretty much all I say for the hours between 3pm and usually 5pm. Well, that and “Zoey get down from there” Did I mention that she is a little monkey? She is always climbing on things and jumping around all day! So cute.
See…MONKEYS!

Somewhere down the line, Xander started to LIKE hot chocolate. Never use to, but as soon at the 80 degree temps started showing up, he has been drinking it nearly everyday… what a silly little boy!

We even played some baseball at great grandmas house, well only until Brandi hit the ball over the fence…
These very mischievous little cuties always keep me on my toes, playtime, stealing the cereal, homework, or playing in the mud, the crazy fun never stops. Not even for daddy naps (a few pics up!)
Our hearts are filled to the top with love for these little ones. Life..Is..GOOD.
