We don’t have dogs, but all of our other family do, Great Grandma, Auntie Nina, Aunt Shirley. We lately we have been dog sitting Missy (left, my Aunt Shirley’s Pooch) and Ember (right, Great Grandma’s Doggie). We just happen to have them on the Saturday that Xander came down with a terrible sickness! He passed out on the couch under Nana’s blanket half way through the day and the little Guard Dogs sat there with him the whole time he slept! It was just too precious! They are great little companions to a sick little boy.
Later that week, Xander missed three days of school, had Pink Eye in both eyes, an ear infection, and was so congested in his chest they put him on an inhaler. We also found out that Zoey had ANOTHER ear infection and the beginnings of pink eye!
All is well before they start school… soon after they do, everything and anything comes home to share. Its so funny, we teach them to share when they wont and then we have to stop them from sharing things we don’t want them to share, lol, like colds and eye infections!
Being a mommy is the most wonderful thing in the world.
But… I can do without all the sickness!
