We went to the Newman Fall Festival about three weeks ago. We go every year, its kind of like our Fall Tradition, thats when we know that fall will be arriving soon. It’s always super exciting and always has lots going on. We saw a bunch of really awesome cars and of course Lance and Xander loved all the Camaro’s. This year they even had this cute little train with four or five cars that circled the park, the line was always so long so we didn’t get a chance to ride.
The next thing we hit were all the little stands and shops that were in the center of the park. I love those! Its a great place for us to start our Christmas shopping, lol! As wierd as that sounds, there are always cute little nick-nacks and other fun unique things. I just love it and always want to take everything home with me!
They always have a ton of bounce houses, bounce slides and obstacle houses and even a carnival area with games and rides and kid rides. The boys’ favorite has to be the super slide. I think they went down about a half a dozen times! Each time a little faster than the last! I love to see their faces light up and hear the laughing!
Even us big kids took a spin! Its called the Tornado… and it spins and spins and spins!!! Oh, and did I mention… It spins! You go around and around and then there is a wheel in the middle that you turn yourself… which makes it spin more!!! The best part… no one threw up and only Lance got a bit of motion sickness! He was still a bit sick that night and the next day, but he says it was all worth it!!!
This was Zoey’s first time a the festival and she loved it! She snacked here way through and took in all the sights and sounds and all the new faces that she saw and heard, some of which she was not a fan! One thing that she really loved was sharing her brothers ICEE! She thought that it was the best thing ever!!! For us, the best part was that she got to take a short nap, which made the rest of the day much easier! She can be quiet the little miss attitude without one! 
They always have the festival at the Newman park, which is at the center of town. They have this great playground there. Xander loves it and its always the last place we hit before home, to get the rest of that energy out and away! They played on the swings and went down slides and Xander ran around like a crazy chicken and climbed on everything! Pure bliss for him! Zoey loved the swing, except for the sun. She didn’t love the sun. They had a great time…
…and so after all that playing and running around and looking at things and riding rides… when we got home it was bath time… and calm down time and then they crashed. They were out like lights and I think Zoey even slept through the night. Lance and I tried to stay up that night to play halo 3 with some friends, but it was hopeless, we crash a couple hours later, too
After too much good food, too many smoothies, and lots of walking and running and playing and way too much sun we were already getting excited for next year! We just can’t wait!!!
