The kids were so happy that day, it was finally cool enough to get out and enjoy some of the abundant sunshine. It was nice not being stuck in the house for another whole day. I think they both completely passed out from exhaustion on the way home! Couldn’t have been a better day.
It was so nice to see the smiles on their faces. Zoey loved taking in all the new sites and faces of people walking by and all Xander wanted to do was run around like a maniac, and we let him. All that energy was about to disappear, what a wonderful thought, especially for a thirty minute ride home.
And even happier, were the parents. We knew the rest of the day would be a piece of cake compared to the days before. No more cabin fever for atleast 24 hours and we prayed hard for another tolerable day. It was a happy day for all of us…
There was a smile on every face, even the sleeping ones.
