We also visited Pier 39 while we were in San Francisco. It’s mostly just a dock with a ton of shops and restaurants and a bunch of other stuff. It was so crazy getting there with all the traffic and crazy drivers, but once we got there we had a good time walking around looking at all the stuff and going through all the stores… the only problem…. it was soo freaking cold! We had dressed for nice warm summer weather, but that day, it decided to act more like early spring! We got ice cream, rode a merry-go-round, watched a magic show and checked out some sea lions… it was a blast!
That is one crazy downhill road!

Saying good bye to San Francisco… its been nice… but time to finally go home! 
Finally after a super long day, we headed back to the car, loaded up the kids, piled in all the stuff and headed home. We stopped for dinner about half way home and rocked out to some Oldies all the way home… finally about half an hour from home, they all passed out! It was so nice and quiet the rest of the way home…
