A couple weeks ago, as I was trying to sleep in a bit and catch up on some desperately need sleep, I hear Lance calling my name.... and not just say "hey kim come here a sec" but more like..." KIM KIM I NEED YOU TO HELP ME... KIM!!!!" In a panic, i dash out of bed to see a slightly paniced Lance sitting on the floor with an adorable baby toe in hand and attched to it... a screaming baby! I was a bit dazed and confused to what exactly was going on....
I was shocked to realize that a thread off of little Zoey's sock had wound itself around her middle toe... here is how the conversation followed...
(Kim) "Lance you need to calm down"
(Lance) "ok ok im calm"
and as we try to remove this horrible thread... (we tried everything... clippers, tweezers, finger nails.. anything to get it to release) At this point it was beginning to cut off her circulation to the toe and was turning a deep shade of red. Conversation continues...
(kim) "Lance Im freaking out! I don't know what to do!!!!"
(lance) "Kim you need to calm down"
It was incredibly wierd to hear how that all went down hours later....
Anyway, eventually somewhere during all this we managed to get the thread removed... (after calling my grandma, freaking out ourselves, poor little Zoey and Xander, dozens of tears later.. and a thousand phone calls...)
We call Xanders pediatrician and got here an emergency appointmet and took her in to get her adorable little toe checked out. Thankfully everythinig was fine.. no lasting damage. The only thinig she came home with that day... was her first toe ring! A deep red indentation around her toe. Thankfully, today, you can't tell that it ever happened, but it will be quite the story to tell her when she gets older.

Well it turned out that she was just in time for her 2 month check up.. including shots. Poor little girl almost had her toe cut off and four shots all in one day..
So here are her stats as of two months old: Weight: 11lbs 3oz, Lenght: 23 3/4 in. She is in perfect health! She sleeps really well at night, usually from 9-10pm to about 4-5:30am (which has been amazing!) She is almost giggling now and smiles soooo much!!! She is holding her head up incredibly well (which she has been doing since birth!) and is trying to sit up as much as she can, which sometimes fraustrates her! She loves making noises and look at the world around her! She is just over two months old now and growing up too fast already!!!
Well i better be off to bed.. 4am comes pretty quick when already sleep deprived!
Love you all!
PS.
More pics to come soon!!!
