These past ten days have just been the greatest! A friend from Ohio, Joe, came out to visit us out here in the middle of California! Oh man, did we have a great time! It was really fun to have someone our own age around, especially someone who liked to do the things we do, like video games and all that good stuff.. Here are some really awesome pics from the happenings around the house... oh and just a little warning.. there are a lot of pics :D:D:D hee hee!!!
We were actually able to take a walk to a park that was nearby, the first time in a while. With all the rain that we had been getting in the first week of January, the park was flooded for a long time! But, even though it was still wet outside..we went anyway, and even tried to play some T-Ball!
Since we were unable to make the snowboarding trip due to the "Storm of the Century", We decided to make some plans to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We had a great time! It had been nearly a year since we had been there last and Xander was really excited.. we didn't even tell him where we were going, only that it was a big surprise with lots of fish!!!!
We also made some time to walk down to the beach. Joe really wanted to put his foot in the pacific ocean, lol!!
Well, we cleaned off our sand covered feet as much as possible and headed back to our car. Joe and Xander were soaked up to their knees, lol, and it was some pretty cold water!!! It was a lot of fun though, it had been more than a year since we had been in the ocean and Xander just loved it!!! Hopefully this summer we will actually make it to Santa Cruz when it is warm out, lol!!!
The last stop that we made was at Casa De Fruta for dinner. That was pretty hilarious too!!!
There are some really hilarious videos from Casa De Fruta, but its already pretty late, so maybe tomorrow night I will get those uploaded for you all!
So we all had a great time :) Today Joe left, and we already miss him!!!! lol!!! We can't wait til the next time we all get together again! Perhaps new years....
