So this week has been incredibly busy. My sister and her boyfriend came up to visit for a couple days..and thats always an adventure. Lance and I made a big dinner Tuesday night, some really awesome meatloaf!!! It was great, Lesley came over and we all just hung out and talked in the backyard while we all got eaten up by misquitos!!
Over the weekend, Lance had an interview for Cold Stone in Turlock. His interview was at 4:45, so we decided that it would be a great day to add me to Lances cingular cell phone plan. So we did!!! I got a new phone and a new phone number Saturday! While Lance was at his interview, Xander and I went to target and bought some stuff... a new hot wheel and one of those color wonder coloring books, a CARS themed one. Xander just loved it! He called it magic! So we walked back to cold stone and just sat at starbucks and waited for lance to get out and I re-programed all the phone numbers into my new phone! Well, after that, we took a trip to the park, which was really fun, and then headed home. At about 8pm, the owner of cold stone called Lance and told him he had the job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were sooo excited, so that night he went to work at Lowes and told his boss that he quit, lol!
Yesterday, we took another trip to turlock to go to the park and stopped at Cold stone so lance could get his new hire packet...which is HUGE!!!! He has to learn songs and all that great stuff! He starts orientation next Thursday and has until then to learn everything in his packet! After we got that and some starbucks and jamba juice, lol. we headed to the park. We got to feed the ducks with some bread that we had and play for a bit on the playground... then we stopped and picked up some pizzas and headed home. It was pretty much just a really awesome family night from then on.
We didnt do much today. Just kinda hung out at home enjoying the new cooler temperatures and milder weather. We did make some bird feeders though with some peanut butter and bird seed! Then Xander hung them on the trees in the back yard. We went to the playdate tonight, since the sun sets earlier and its getting colder, we have moved the playdate from 7pm to 6pm.. which is really great. We got there at 6 and didnt leave until 8!!! Xander had a great time and got to see his Best Friend Aila after about three weeks! About 30 mins after we got home he was in bed and outcold in minutes!!
