Its sunday already... this weekend has just flown by so quickly.
Well friday, we did pretty much nothing. Xander had been asking to sleep in his own room for about a week and since Lance doesnt work Friday nights, we decided to do a bit of rearranging. So we moved some stuff and put Xanders toddler bed back into his own room. He had been sharing a room with us for about 3 months now. He did pretty good Friday night. Went to bed on time and slept until about 5:30am. Thats when things go a a little crazy..and kinda scary.. so heres the story.
My mom woke me up about 5:30 Sat. morning with Xander in hand. I was a bit confuse and thought that he had woken up to my dad getting ready to leave for work. Well.. what actaully happened was a bit different... Xander did wake up to my dad, but was a little confused to where mommy was.. he followed my dad out the front door (keep in mind that we had to buy a chain lock to keep xander in the house...) my dad had locked the door and headed to the car.. well Xander unlocked the door and followed him out. My dad put his stuff in the car and instead of getting in and leaving (like he usually would) stopped for a second turned around and there was Xander standing on the curb crying for grandpa. Inside the house my mom felt that something was a bit off (call it mothers instinct and i was still sleeping) and went outside... and found grandpa and Xander walking back to the door. Xander was crying and upset and very cold!!! So grandma brought him back into my room and explained what had happened. Xander was more awake now, still a bit upset and cold..but ok.. he even wanted to go back into his own room into his own bed. So i sat with him for a few minutes and put his DVD back on and went back to my room.. he fell back to sleep about 30 minutes later.. but.. of course, i was kinda freaked out, so i couldnt fall back to sleep, lol It was kinda nice waking up early though, it was nice outside and it was good to get some stuff down before the rest of the house woke up....... So anyway, that was our Saturday morning, lol!
So after all that, Xander woke up about 8:30 that morning. We usually go to our Sat. morning playdates at the park with the Mamas and Me play group (
http://www.mamasandme.com/) but this sat. we signed Xander up for the Lowe's Children Project at 10am. So we went and Xander had a great time!!!!! We made a wooden calender holder! here are some pics!

So that was really great and we plan to do this atleast once a month
After we got home from Lowe's, we ate some lunch and got ready to go FISHING!!!! My mom told us earlier that day that she would like to take us all fishing again. Last time we went, Xander had such a great time!!! So we packed a cooler of water and caprisuns, lol, and drove down to the resevoir, to a different area than last time. We drove around this area for about 20 minutes and couldnt find a good spot!!! It was all murky and mucky, lol.. it was kinda dirty.. so we decided to go to the same beach that we went to last time.. the only problem..swimmers!! Tons of them! So we wondered off a bit and found a little secluded area by the water.. and another problem... RED ANTS!!!! thousands of them! We kinda just kept our feet in the water..where the ants werent. It was kinda scary.. i hate ants..hate hate hate.. and red ants are even worse, but we delt with it. Lance got the pole set up.. we even bought some live bait (poor worms!!) Xander really wasnt interested in the fishing part..more of the wading in the water and throwning rocks, lol, which was fun too! We didnt catch anything but a few sunburns, lol.. but we all had a really great time.. here are some pics from that...
On the way home, we stopped to get some starbucks, Xander and lance always gets the Vanilla bean frap. which has no caffine or coffee!!! Mom and I of course need our caffine, lol! We dropped mom off at Lesley's and we went home, made some dinner, did bath time and bed time... and RELAXED, lol. Lance and I played Perfect Dark Zero before bed time, lol.. for just about an hour.. we were super exhausted after a really long day!!!!!!!
Today.. we arent doing anything, just kind of sitting around and doing nothing.. we might go hand out some flyers for our upcoming back sale, but other than that, we need a rest, lol!!!!
Well i hope the rest of you had a great weekend, cant believe its over already!!!! Are we all ready for the upcoming week?????
