Short and Sweet....kinda!

So this week has already been super busy. Monday Lance, Xander, and I all went over to the local shopping center to put up some flyers for our bake sale on sunday. Most places allowed us to do since it was a non profit organization. It was really nice and it gave us a bit of family time as we walked around to various businesses... we pretty much made a game of it... then we got some ice cream and headed home... Xander ended up taking about and hour and a half nap, lol. It was nice, but that made bed time a bit later... which wasnt great. He ended up being over tired but too awake to go to sleep.. overall a very difficult night. Today, Lance and I supercleaned the house, lol. We are having some friends over tomorrow to help make some posters for the bake sale. We invited them over for dinner also, which will be fun. We also went to the playdate tonight, it was really great. Lots of moms showed up tonight, and two new moms that i havent met before, even a few dads, lol, which is unusual! It was a great time and its been a while since i have seen alot of people since i was sick for about 3 weeks with my stupid tooth, lol! Speaking of tooth, im pretty much 100% healed.. my jaw is still a bit stiff.. but thats to be expected i guess. There are still somethings that i cant eat, but other than that... everything great. Lance has been doing great. He is a bit tired, but is still adjusting to the whole night time work thing. He thought it would be easy, lol. I make sure he gets the sleep he needs, even if he wants me to wake him up a bit early! Lance has been helping me cook dinner alot in the past few months too, he is an awesome cook :D (learned from his mommy!!!) Cooking together has been really great, gives up a bit of that together time, and we dont get a lot of that. I miss him at night though, and he misses me alot.. and Xander. He would like to switch to days, but they just cant gauratee him 40 hours a week, which he really needs. Hopefully soon, i will be able to find work, im still working on getting into the school district, which has proven harder than i thought Xander is doing great. Having a few issues with hitting ... but i have a few friends that also have boys, and the wierd thing is..they are all doing the same thing!! Must be something in the air we say, lol!! He is gettting soo big! i still cant believe he is 3! He is already way past 3feet tall!! and wieghs about 42 pounds or so.. he is totally solid!! He just runs around all day, burning all of his little kid energy!!! We had thought about putting him in preschool, but decided to wait until he was a bit more social and maybe a bit calmer, lol. So next year... preschool, definitly. But overall things are pretty great! We are happy, having a bit of a routine everyday and spending time together as a family. Its been awesome.
