Lance leaves for work everyday at 2:15. On the rare occasion that Xander has a day off school or when he gets out of school early, this is the normal sight as Lance is leaving. Its sweet. Even the dog gets a bit whinny and hops up on the window sill with the kiddos. Oh, and don’t mind all the little kid smudges on my window! Its hard to keep up with those adorable little fingers!
We wish he was home in the evening more often, but hey, in these days of bad economy, we feel blessed that he has a stable job. The hours kind of suck and he doesn’t get to see the little ones as often as we like but for the moment it works. I was able to take up part time work at the school during the day which has been really great. We love our family and even though we do things a little different, we couldn’t imagine it being any other way, for now at least!
