and finally a moment to update and post some new pics!! YAY!!! Especially for you totally awesome grandparents and auntie out there in Amesbury, Massachusetts!!! (We miss you guys!!)

CHRISTMAS

Christmas was wonderful! Once again Xander had way too many Christmas'. One with us, one with the great-grandparents, Auntie Nina, and of course the Mass Grandparents... He was a bit overwhelmed, but LOVED every minute of it!!!

We had a traditional Mexican Christmas Dinner at a family friends house this year, well, actually every year we do! We always do these really awesome English poppers every year and on the inside of them (after you pop them apart with a partner!) There is a paper crown, a toy and usually a joke or interesting fact...Lance was the only on to wear his practically the whole night!!! Later he realized that it had left a lovely blue line across his forehead!!

The dinner was really awesome and we had a really great time with all our family, especially since it was Zoey's first Christmas.

New Years Eve 2008/New Years Day 2009

We had a really great New Years... and making it even better... Joe flew out from Ohio the day after Christmas!! YAY!!! We had a ton of fun, video games and food... Xander made it all the way to about 2am and Zoey slept through the whole night!!! Even all the yelling and screaming as the new year approached!

Finally, midnight came, we cheer, we yelled, we laughed, hugged, and even cried... another year gone and a brand new year just waiting for us to make the best of it....

For us... the greatest parts of 2008.... the arrival of our daughter, Xander's first year of school, our one year wedding anniversary and Massachusetts wedding reception (which was amazing!! Thanks Karin!), and all the countless moments that we had with our family and closets friends.
