October 12, 2008...

Well, yesterday was our day! We are finally married!!! Yesterday at 9:40 am, we went to the stanislaus county court and were married!!! It was sooo crazy... we were so anxious and nervous and happy and so excited and it all happened so quickly, lol, litterally, it only took a whole 10 mintues to do everything!!! We couldnt believe it. Our friends Joe and Myka drove up from San Jose to be there for us.. Joe was Lances "bestman" lol. Our friends that we met through the mamas and me, Jennifer and Dan and thier two kids also drove out to Modesto to be there. Our family from Newman, Ed and Lesley were also there :) and my sister and her boyfriend drove up from handford to be there also. It was great! Thank you to you all for being there for Lance and I, it truely meant a lot to the both of us! And to those that couldnt make it :) no worries, lol :D:D We have lots of pics, i just havent downloaded them on to the computer yet, but will hopefully be able to do that tonight. While we were on our way to the court house, we got to one of the roads we were suppose to turn onto...and there was a train blocking the way!!!!! A bad omen? lol... it was just plain hilarious!!! We couldnt do anything but laugh and hope we would be on time, lol.. we ended up taking a different road that was about 6 miles out of the way..but that was just fine.. we got there with i think about 5 minutes to spare :D After our monring ceremony, lol, my parents and sister drove to costco (we were having a get together that evening) to buy some stuff for dinner that night, they also took Xander with them which gave us some time to hang out with Joe and Myka :D. When we got home, we picked up the house a bit (since it was a mess from the morning!) waiting for joe and myka to come, showed joe how to play Halo 3, lol, which was so funny! then we ordered some pizza from LampPost and just hung out and talked with the family. When we went to pick up the pizza we had passed the corn maze that was on Sperry Ave. Joe really wanted to go there so after we ate (and after i asked mom if they could watch xander for an hour, hee hee :D) we drove to the corn maze! It was sooo fun! We finished the whole thing in about 1 hour 15 minutes!!! Sometime today or tomorrow we ware going to make a trip over there with Xander, we went last year and he loved it!!! After the maze joe and myka had to leave, but we had a great time while they visited. After we said our goodbyes, Lance and I headed home and found who else but Ed and Lesley! ---- oh and before i get any further, just before we went to pick up the pizzas, the doorbell rang.. lance answered it and was tlaking to someone.. he walked back into the kitchen with a huge...no wait.. a HUGE.. bouquet of flowers!!! It was beautiful, lots of beautiful flowers in Fall colors!!! It was from Karin, Stephen and Sherena!!! (Lances parents) It was soooo beautiful!! Thank you soo much you guys!!! We love you and miss you soo much!!!!! oh and right next to the flowers was a photo book. Ed and lesley had the phots developed when they got home and put them in a beautiful photo book for Lance and I!! It was soo beautiful!! Thank you soo much!!! ---- Ok..back to our story, lol. so we were all hanging out in the back yard eating some yummy food and just laughing and having a great time!! Then my dad suggested that we put up the canopy just in case it was going to rain (the clouds were coming in pretty quickly and they were super incredibly dark!!!) Well as we started to put up the canopy it begun to sprinkle just a bit and then just as we finished getting it up it begun to down pour!!! It was soo awesome!! Everyone told us it was good luck to have rain on your wedding day!!!! Just before dinner Faye and Lou came over (our neighbors across the street) and we had an awesome dinner, had some great laughs and a wonderful night spending time with our friends and family!! I really couldnt imagine it any better... except if Lances family was here :D:D:D Lance and I had a wonderful day yesterday... even with a train blocking our way and some incredibly wicked rain and missing some of our family...the day was still great! And we are soo happy to be spending our lives together... and so far married life doesnt feel any different :D except for the amount of rings on my finger :D lol!!!! We love you all and we hope that you all are having a great weekend... we know we are!!! We want to thank our Parents for being sooo incredibly supportive!
