Well this weekend was definitly a crazy one.
On friday, Lance and I went out to do some shopping for Xanders birthday. We got all the plates and cups and stuff for the kids, and all the good stuff to go in the goody bags. Since we are doing a Disneys Cars party theme, we also got these really cute little wooden cars from Michaels and some paint to go in each goody bag...im sure the parents are going to love it! lol..
On Saturday, We had planned to just stay home and do nothing, since we knew that Sunday was going to be a long day (my uncles wedding) but instead, we went out with my mom shopping, got the rest of the party stuff, my mom got some stuff.. i got a few new shirts, yay me! lol.. i hate shopping.. especially for myself! lol! It was kind of crazy since Xander is potty training and recently made his transition from pull ups to big boy underware, but he only had one accident yesterday which was really great! Im so proud of him he has been doing so great in such a short period of time.
Sunday was pretty good. We went to my uncles wedding. It was beautiful and they are such a happy couple. It was kind of funny, becuase they had alot of what Lance and I had been talking about.. Their colors were white & purple, they also did M&M's and it was at a winery, lol.. which is pretty much exactly what lance and I are doing, lol. Our colors are black white and purple and we are doing customized M&M's and we are going to have it at a local winery called Diablo Grande. It was kind of cool.. but of course, Xander wasnt going to make it an easy day, lol. He was pretty quiet during the ceremony which was great. But, once the reception started, lol, all hell broke loose. He just wasnt listening and yelling and running, i understand that it was a new place and he is only barely 3, but really, he knows how to act when we go out. So after they cut they cake, we made our exit. It was great to see my Uncle and my cousins, who i havent seen since I have so incredibly young, lol.. so young i dont even remember them. Lol!
Today is a new day and hopefully a very calm and uneventful. I am going to try and get some of Xanders invitations out today and get over to the store to get the stuff for the cakes that i am going to be doing this week. I get to do my first 3-tiered cake this week and next, a 4th of july anniversary cake for a friend, its going to be a great learning experience and Xanders cake, which i am doing Lightening McQueen from Cars. Its all going to be great!
