Hey everyone,
So this week has been pretty good. I worked on two cakes this past week, one for my sister and another for a local friend. They both turned out pretty good i think. The weather on the other hand, hasnt been so great. A lot of wind..blowing everything in our backyard around and its even been cold at some times. Then today, it was 90 degrees! Its so crazy!
Xander was at his dads house last night. I always miss him when he is away. Most of the time i dont even want to do anything or go anywhere... but last night my sister wanted to go to Johns Incredible Pizza for her birthday. It was ok.. but not as much fun as it would have been if Xander was home, lol. We got to watch the end of the basketball game, so that was good and we racked up a whole bunch of tickets for Xander for next time that we go.
We were actually able to BBQ today. It was nice. Well, actually my dad did. The wind died down enough to keep the flame going on the BBQ. It was sooo good! lol. Its been while since my whole family has been together for dinner like that... my sister lives pretty far away and my parents work and dont get home until late.. and now lance sleeps during the day and leaves just as dinner is done, lol. Things get so complicated when you least expect it...and then you realize that you just dont see people like you use to... i mean in frequency.. people tend to fade into their own realities...
well anyway, im pretty sure im running out of stuff to talk about and i might actually be getting tired... so i guess im off to bed...

I am really proud of you for the cakes. They both looked good. I am going to do Maddie's birthday with the original design. I am going with daisy. I will be starting to make the daisy's for the cake this week. I need like 100 of them since I am making a smash cake for her that looks like the big cake for everyone else. I think it will look real good. I will definately put pics on here for you. Lots of luck!
