So this week has just been really crazy. It was Lance's first week at his new job and the new sleep schedule has been really hard for me to get use to. I dont like sleeping alone at night. Even when i am super tired, i just cant fall asleep. Lance is doing well. He knows that he needs the sleep and makes sure he gets enough of it. He really likes his job, which is great. Actually, he is so good at what he does, the day manager and the night manager are fighting over him, lol. Its pretty awesome. Lance likes working the nights though, he likes haveing he days home with us.
My sisters birthday was yesterday, but she lives about two hours south, so she and her boyfriend are coming up this weekend. Im making her a cake, but she doesnt know it. She loves cows for some crazy reason, so im making her a cow cake, lol. I think we are all going out to dinner to celebrate, which will be fun.
I also got another cake order this week. From the same person that i made a set of ballerina cakes. A much smaller order though, lol. She wants some sunflowers on it, which i havent made before, but i can learn almost anything. Im really excited to start that one today and finish the other one by tonight.
Oh man, the weather. Its been so wierd. Last week we were getting 90 degree temps. and now all this week is has been raining! In the middle of may.. that is wierd!! I know its still technically spring, but i really wish the weather would make up its mind! I love the rain.. but in the winter, in the spring in summer months i really want my sunshine, i need it, my son needs it. I want to go outside and play!!! lol. Hopefully this Sat. wont be raining, Xander really needs the playdate. He has missed out for two weeks already.
Well, i guess thats it for now. I could have sworn that more had happened this week. Its just been hard with lance sleeping days, I didnt realize how much we help each other when he wasnt working. I guess you dont know what you have until its gone, even when its just during the day.
